Pilot Flying J: Push4Points Rewards Program

At the end of 2019, I got the opportunity to work on a team that designed Pilot Flying J’s rewards program, Push4Points. In the process of six weeks, we defined the user experience and design principles to build a user-centered, easy-to-navigate, loyalty-centric program. The Push4Points program gives drivers up to four times the points they were originally earning, and increases daily app use and contact with the brand.

Visual Design

As a team we worked to create a user experience that put the customer’s needs first and accomplishes the goals of the business. I then led visual design for the project and worked tirelessly to create a design that is playful while still speaking to the brand’s identity.

The Result

Push4Points launched in April 2020, at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. The program defied all odds by driving a more than 30% uplift in sales during COVID-19 in April alone. After launch there were more than 14k additional users on the mobile app and 78 million gallons of diesel fuel sales came from the program.

“Needless to say, Leah is phenomenal. Her professionalism and quality of work are second to none. She is an integral part of our team and I can’t imagine working without her skillset and knowledge. She’s been instrumental in a lot of our large initiatives. Throughout all of these projects, she listens to what we are trying to accomplish, asks the right questions, and executes wireframes and designs that not only meet, but exceed expectations.”
